What is mobile pet grooming?
Mobile Grooming is a professional pet grooming service that brings a fully-equipped pet salon right to your home. You get to “Paws and Relax” while we pamper your pet right outside your home!
How does mobile grooming work?
First, you will need to fill out the contact form on the website and include details such as your pets breed, size, age, and temperament. You will need to specify what services you are requesting, and what days/ time frames work best for you. You can find the contact form here.
Next, I will contact you with a list of dates and time frames that would work best for the business and for you. On the day of your appointment, you will be given a 2-3 hour time window for when I will arrive for your service. I use a time window to factor in drive time and any unforeseen circumstances that may occur during the appointment before yours.
When I arrive, I will come to your door to discuss details of the appointment and to collect your pet. I ask that you have your pets collar and leash on by the time I arrive in order to move the process along swiftly.
You ‘Paws & Relax’ in your home while I groom your pet in the van, right at your doorstep.
Finally, when services are completed, I will bring your pet back to you and collect payment. We accept cash, card or app (venmo, paypal, cash app) payment options. Please keep in mind there may be processing fees for credit card transactions.
In order to maintain your pets healthy coat and to avoid hassle, it is best to keep your pet on a regular grooming schedule.
Cancellations/No Response- A 24-48 hours notice is required in order to avoid a cancellation fee. This is waived in the event of an emergency. Repeat offenders may not be rescheduled.
Is mobile pet grooming safe?
Yes, our mobile salon is fully insured. As your groomer, I am certified and well experienced in pet safety standards.
What are the benefits of mobile grooming?
Mobile grooming offers one-on-one attention to your pet. There are no crates, no exposure to other animals and offers a less stressful environment than the typical salon. It is perfect for anxious, elderly, or busy pets or pet owners. It is also convenient for the customer who may have difficulty bringing their pet to a brick and mortar salon.
What kind of pets do we groom?
As of right now, we are only accepting dogs under 55lbs and cats. This is simply because our tub is too small to fit pets over this size. If you would like to have a service done for your pet who is over 55lbs, we may be able to accommodate you as a house calls service.
My pet is elderly, has temperament issues, and/or has medical concerns. Will you still groom my pet?
Yes, we take extra care and precautions with older pets. We work with most temperament types, but extremely aggressive pets may need special arrangements or a vet-recommended groomer. If your pet has medical issues, please use our contact form so we can discuss what may be best for your pet.
